According to DeepSeek, the team is developing the underlying infrastructure needed to support future AI agents. Within these facilities, power, cooling, networking and computing systems will be closely integrated, directly affecting the overall output and efficiency of computing resources. The company said it aims to explore the physical and engineering limits of data center systems, pushing the boundaries of efficiency, reliability, automation and resilience. For young engineers applying for infrastructure- and design-related positions, DeepSeek lists electrical engineering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), environmental engineering and civil engineering among the eligible academic backgrounds.
